When you use Scrapus, we collect information you provide directly to us (name, email, payment details) and information generated through your use of our services (data requests, usage logs). We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services.
2. Public Data Notice
Scrapus exclusively collects publicly available data from the internet. We do not scrape private databases, bypass authentication systems, or collect data that individuals have not made publicly available. All collection activities comply with applicable laws and source website terms of service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve our services, (b) process payments via Stripe, (c) send transactional emails (verification, results, billing), (d) respond to support requests, and (e) analyze usage patterns to improve our AI models and scraping accuracy.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored in encrypted databases. Scraped results are stored temporarily and can be downloaded or deleted at any time from your account. We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and AES encryption at rest.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional emails, and Anthropic/OpenAI APIs for AI processing. Each of these third-party services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
6. Data Retention
Account information is retained as long as your account is active. Scraped data results are retained for 30 days after collection, after which they are permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion of your data at any time.
7. Your Rights

8. Cookies
