Design Team Masters

Misty Hoofman

Tisha Marzewski

My name is Tisha L. Marzewski. I am married to a sweet husband, Jason, and we have three dogs and two housecats. My husband and I have been married almost seven years now. We love movies, hiking, camping, playing with our pets, and art of all kinds!

I am thrilled and honored to be part of the first Scrapbook Attic Design Team. It is another way for me to push myself forward with my scrapbooking and to help introduce others to scrapbooking.  I have been scrapbooking since third grade when I would paste my valentines, birthday cards, and pictures in scrapbooks.  Scrapbooking to me is about pride and love for family and heritage.  Preserving those memories before they are lost and gone and all is left is a photo.  Scrapbooking is an ongoing process that will never end for me as long as I am breathing!

Dobea Alberts

Hi! My name is DoBea Alberts and I live in Conway, Arkansas. I have lived here for 3 years and completely love it. I have been married for almost 9 years to my wonderful husband Brain. We have 2 children, both girls, Brianna, 9, and Abigail, 6. I started out stamping a little over 9 years ago. I always said that I would never start scrapbooking, but when I became pregnant for the second time I decided that it was time to start. Ever since, I have been a paper and ink mess. I would say that my style is very eclectic, but very simple. I scrapbook almost every day and when I am not, I am taking pictures of everything. I enjoy sharing my projects and have a very laid back attitude towards teaching what I know. I enjoy learning and can’t wait to see all the art people are making this year.

Tammie Howell

My name is Tammie Howell.  My husband David and I have four children.  If you've been to many of the Attic's scrappin' events, you've probably met us all.  We usually travel in a pack!  That's one of the things I really love about scrapbooking, it is all about my family.  What better hobby to have than one that can include, encourage and treasure the most important people in my life.

I personally think that is why scrapbooking has taken off like it has - it is the modern day quilting bee.  Ladies of yesteryear would gather together to do something creative, that benefited their family and talk about the memories those quilting scraps evoked.  Isn't that what we do at every crop?

It is an honor to be in the Design Team Masters program with the Scrapbook Attic.  I love doing the shows and meeting all of you wonderful ladies.  It takes a tremendous amount of work to put it on, but it is worth it!  Seeing how much you ladies enjoy the effort is very rewarding.  Being on the DTM has been very challenging as well.  It is easy for me to get in a rut, but Denise and Misty are constantly pushing me out of my box.  Thanks ladies!

Sherae Martin

Hi, I am Sherae Martin and I live in North Little Rock, Arkansas with my husband Fred and daughter Brittany.  I have been employed with the United States Postal Service for 13 years.  I am a very friendly, passionate, and easy going individual.  Enough with all that, lets talk scrapbooking.
I absolutely love everything about scrapbooking.  I couldn't be more excited about being a part of the SBA Design Team.  I am so honored to be apart of this team of talented ladies. I know that I will learn so much from them and make some great friends.  I am amazed at how much it is constantly changing.  I was a senior in high school(1987) when I created my first scrapbook.  At that time scrapbooking meant photo corners, giant albums and a little journaling explaining the contents of the page.  For many years after creating my first book, my creativity lay dormant until after the birth of my adorable daughter;2003.  She is the subject and main inspiration of my pages.
If I had to classify my scrapbooking style, I would say it is linear, clean, and simple.  My favorites are patterened paper, ribbons, chipboard, acrylic paint,. rub-ons and flowers.  I spend a lot of time pouring over idea books and websites.
I can't wait to get started on this amazing adventure.

Design Team Members

Rebecca Hafner

Hello all, my name is Becca Hafner and I’m a scrapaholic!
Let me just say I feel privileged to be able to represent the Scrapbook Attic as a design team member. I moved to Little Rock for a job almost a year ago. I do love it here but I miss the hills of Fifty Six which is where home will always be. I like to think I’m a down to earth kind of girl who appreciates all art medias. When I am not working on some home décor project, I am painting, drawing, or advancing my photography skills. Some days I just love to be lazy and curl up with a good movie or book!  Scrapbooking began for me as a way to showcase the many pictures I love to take.  My pages usually begin around a picture I feel inclined to tell a story about whether it is about my lazy cat Mr. Giz, my sweet little nephews, a travel adventure, or one of my crazy sisters.  My scrapbooking style depends on what kind of mood I’m in as well as the story I’m going to try to tell.  I’m ready to share my ideas and learn a few  on the way!

Terry Arnold

Hi, my name is Terry Arnold and I live in Jacksonville, AR with my husband of 33 years, Ken and our daughter Ami who is 26(and swears she is never leaving home!) along with our 4 Shih Tzu's, Brent, Brooks, Bryson & Bosley & 1 very spoiled poodle, AnnaBelle.

I have a son, Andy(28), he and his wife, Danya, live in Bryant, AR with their two dogs, Hershey & Bailey.

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Oklahoma City, OK when I was around 4 and lived there until the summer I turned 15 and we moved to Sherwood, AR and have been here ever since. I met my husband in high school(Sylvan Hills), but, we were just great friends until we ran into one another about a year after graduation and we married 5 months after that meeting.  I have an older sister and a younger brother so yes, that makes me a "middle child". My parents have recently retired and moved back to Arkansas from Florida(?) so just about everyone(in our family) lives within 30 minutes of each other.

I've been scrapping (the way we presently scrapbook) for 5 years now, but, have always been involved in some kind of craft and as much as possible I like to combine some of my former crafts with the art of scrapbooking. I tried so hard to stay away from scrapbooking because I knew once I was involved it would consume my whole life and I was successful at staying away until my sister was transferred to Little Rock and she drug me 'kicking and screaming' into my first scrapbook store and first 'crop night' and my fears were founded, I was hooked and there was no going back.  I am all about the "details" the "little things" in my scrapbooking and in my life.  I am absolutely addicted to altering and am always involved in some kind of project. I have never been able to fit my scrapbooking into some kind of 'style', I just do whatever feels right for what I'm working on and it isn't always the same.  I'm addicted to distressing, OMG, I love sandpaper and tearing paper and all kinds of inks and paints, and any little thing that makes a page or project 'pop'.   I'm a tool junkie or gadget girl and I have always ask "why" too often, so I'm told, but, I'm a "Big Picture" person, so, if I know the "why" of something, I'm "good to go".  I am so addicted to magazines and books and am currently enrolled in an on-line college and am working on my degree in Natural Health with a concentration on Nutrition and Lifestyles.  My daughter and I love to go to retreats and meet new people and hear their stories and help wherever I can and I love to laugh & as hard as I try not to be, I am a "Night Person",  just can't seem to change that about me. I love to travel and take pictures and I love the "sound of the ocean" and I'm a marathon shopper.

I am absolutely "thrilled" to be included with these talented ladies and can't wait to meet all of you and see what types of projects we can dream up together.

I'm Dawn Dietz 10 year veteran scrapbooker.
I live here in Searcy AR with my husband Mark and our 9 year old daughter Rachel. She's my favorite subject as you'll see in my albums.
Rachel is extra special because she has Down Syndrome, which makes her extra pretty and lovable!
I've been scrappin' at the Attic for over 5 years now and it's my favorite place to reconnect with my girlfriends.  We let it all hang out and have FUN!
Some of my favorite projects lately are mini albums, I'm nuts about any kind of chip board accents and seem to put a lot of glitter and "Bling" on my pages.  I love to design layouts for others to try.  I've been teaching a monthly class at my church for almost a year now and I love every minute of it.  The ladies, and even a few children who attend have so much fun just being together.
I look forward to designing some fun pages and projects this year for ya'll to try!
Thanks for the opportunity!
Happy Scrappin',
Dawn

Hi! My name is Diane Freeman. Although I am not a native Arkansan, I have lived in Little Rock for 17 years. I have been married to my husband, Tom for 24 years. We have three children, Aaron 22, Shannon 20 and Ryan 18. We also have 3 cats, 1 dog and 2 grand-dogs. I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years. I can remember stamping and embossing with my Girl Scout troop 12 years ago. I love the creative outlet scrapbooking gives me. With a career as a pediatrician where there is NO creativity and lots of stress, I look for every opportunity to scrapbook. I have met some fabulous people through scrapbooking and have made some very wonderful friends through it as well. I am honored to have been chosen for the Scrapbook Attic Design Team and I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm for such a fabulous hobby.
